Oppen Application for BIP-The Resilient Educator: Holistic Approaches for Preventing Burnout

We are pleased to announce that the application procedure is now open for Blended Intensive Program(BIP): The Resilient Educator: Holistic Approaches for Preventing Burnout  

The BIP will take place in Shumen, Bulgaria, from October 12th to 16th, 2026. 

This BIP addresses one of the most pressing challenges in education today: preventing burnout and strengthening resilience among educators. The programme adopts a holistic and interdisciplinary approach, integrating perspectives from education, psychology, social work, physical activity, health, and digital technologies. It focuses on understanding emotional exhaustion, professional frustration, and psychotraumatic experience, while equipping participants with practical strategies for sustainable wellbeing.
Participants will work in international teams to design practical solutions for preventing burnout in educational settings.

The program is designed for students (Bachelor, Master, or PhD) and staff who are interested in psychology, education, social sciences, and interdisciplinary studies. It is particularly suitable for future and current specialists from the fields of Education Sciences, Social Pedagogy and Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, Physical Education and Sport, Health Education, etc.

Nomination deadline: 30th of June 2026 

You can nominate your students by email, sending us the following information for each student: the full name of the student, email, and the study cycle (Bachelor, Master, or PhD).

 

We are seeking partner universities and participants in the BIP. It is open to staff and students. We can accept up to 5-8 students and up to 2 teaching staff from each university.
